Rachel Lauren
Rachel Lauren is a Texas-based printmaker currently operating out of Denton, Texas. Originally born in Houston, they graduated in December of 2023 with a BFA in printmaking from the University of North Texas. In their undergraduate career, Rachel Lauren focused on the integration of technology to aid in the efficient production of imagery surrounding topics of the soul, the afterlife, and living with chronic physical and mental illness.
Sharonza Penson
Sharonza Penson’s work isn’t bound by labels, but has roots in abstract expressionism. She paints intuitively using an array of colors. Sharonza’s artwork could make you think of nature, a sexy lady…or ignite a memory of a better time…perhaps a deep emotion. Her goal is to blur the lines of “day-to-day,” wonder, unpredictability and emotion.
Delaney Smith Studio
Delaney Smith-Vaughn is a visual artist, designer and educator based in Denton, TX. Her work explores commercialized creativity, queerness, and the inherent quality of material. She uses handmade paper and cast pulp because of its tactile nature and common presence in our lives.
She hosts Sew Gold, a skillshare gathering, twice a month at her studio at Top Secret. In addition to her day job as a career coach at the College of Visual Art & Design at UNT, she teaches workshops locally and across the US. Some recent workshop include sew-a-longs and papermaking at Oil and Cotton, and a cast paper workshop at Penland School of Craft.
